When you're ready for the online, you'll need to download and install the game's beta to access the multiplayer modes. Gamers who sign up for the beta will be able to download their progress as soon as the full game is released.

For me, the biggest surprise is how Everybody's Golf N supports the PSVR. The PlayStation VR is a very limited system and to date, we've seen only one PS4/VR game arrive on the platform. To play Everybody's Golf N online, you'll need to grab a PlayStation Camera. This is a webcam-like device that plugs into the PlayStation Camera port on your console, allowing you to take a photo and have that displayed on your PSVR. It's easy to use, reasonably priced and will be ready to go with pretty much any PSVR.

To take advantage of this, you need an internet connection. If you're connecting via your PS4, you'll need to install the game's beta version to get access to online play. If you're playing offline, you can still hit up your friends for a game.

I didn't get a chance to try out the casual play mode, but I know it's going to be a lot of fun. After playing about an hour of PGA mode, I'm looking forward to taking a break from the game and tossing some balls at the virtual pins. I'd love to see more PlayStation VR support for online games.

@Jaz007This game had the Everybody's Golf metaverse built into it. The game required a standard Wi-Fi connection and was playable with the addition of an Access PlayStation Network subscription. The game also had a number of other features and additions. They kept the standard set of modes, but added online leaderboards.[citation needed]
