Near the end of the game, the girls the player interacted with will all be gone. That is, except for Monika. The game brings the player one-on-one with Monika as she sits there and stares at you. The only way to get rid of her is to delete her character file. This was pretty straightforward in the PC version, but now with the console release of Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, players on consoles must try an alternate method.

Amongst the files players will find is the Characters folder. Open this and players should see a file called Monika and no other character files, hinting at the events of the game. Delete the file or move it to the recycling bin. Then, open up the game to find that Monika is no longer there. If players are playing the game in any other method outside Steam, just search for what file the game is installed in and the same process should work.

actually It is APPLICATION_OCTET_STREAM response for a file. we have to handle download functionality at client side AS per Nate's answer here, the response of Ajax request is not recognized by a browser as a file. It will behave in the same way for all Ajax responses. You need to trigger the download popup manually.

Android extension works great! My only problem with playing on the google drive file is... how am I gonna get past act three if you have to delete Monika's character file to progress? It doesn't exactly show me any character files. I'm not there yet, as of the time of this post I only just got to act two, but I want to know for future reference.

I'm very late to the scene, however there is a way to play DDLC using a chromebook that involves some amount of internal modifications, however it is something you can easily do with just a chromebook. For one thing is I will not claim responsibility for you damaging a school chromebook if that's what you are you using. those are not yours so just stop immediately if thats what you are using. Alright so first you should follow the steps on this website -ubuntu-16-04-on-chromebook-using-crout... After you do so, you should download the .zip file of this of this game and unzip it using the terminal. Then in the DDLC folder, run ddlc.sh and you should be good to go. if not then you should look for help with installing on a linux, after you make your chromebook a linux. Your chromebook is repairable btw

I have a Windows laptop so I'm not sure but you can try downloading a Linux version of DDLC. After you do that, extract the files with WinRAR. You should get a little folder with all the characters and the executable game. ( DO NOT DRAG THE GAME OUT OF THE FOLDER, IT WON'T WORK. )

Hey, when i type in 'chmod 777 lib' it says "cannot access 'lib' : no such file or directory" this may be because this is my second time downloading the game as i want to get the other possible endings. But i was wondering if there was a way around this or if i'm doing something wrong.

Ok, could somebody explain it to me? I got the ARC thing then, I am clueless after that. Also, I don't where to get the DDLC app to download, how to open it in my files, or anything. The explanations make no sense to me whatsoever. I would be highly grateful if someone were to explain it to me step by step.
